An advisory services engagement will begin with an assessment of your current state: What’s your story? How well do your processes flow? Do you truly have capacity to deploy capital? Then, based on that assessment, I’ll make some recommendations for us to start working toward some concrete goals.

Strategic advisory engagements typically focus on the following:

Fund Formation Strategy – Comprehensive strategy to ensure you will impress the highest-caliber institutional investors with your story, processes, and team before you head to raise that fund. Perfect for private equity independent sponsors considering raising their first buyout fund in the next 2 years.

 Narrative Strategy – I’ll help you tell a story that LPs can’t get enough of. We’ll also get ahead of any questions LPs may have before they can even ask them.

 Operational Strategy – Don’t let inefficiencies in your firm be a detriment to an LP’s due diligence process. Let’s make your firm run as seamlessly as possible, with documented processes and the right team to execute on those processes. 

 Team Growth Strategy – To execute a big vision, you’ll need the right team members at the right time. We’ll work together to articulate your goals then decide who you’ll need to add to the team and when. 

All engagements feature a weekly strategy meeting plus hands-on guidance and implementation of your action plan in up to 10 hours per month.

 

A full scope of work will be established prior to the engagement. I respect that every GP is different, so each engagement is bespoke and tailored to your needs.
